“ I had been to Billy Frogg's once for lunch and it wasn't very memorable. I was happier with breakfast. We had a friend in town and didn't want anything fancy, just a simple place to eat and chat before she had to leave. Billy Frogg's worked out great. I had looked at some photos of the menu on Yelp, and I have to say that the menu has changed and is much more limited. But anyway, it had the things we wanted and it was easier to decide what to get! I got the omelet with mushrooms and cheddar. Loved it, it was really packed with mushrooms on the inside. Served with hashbrowns and toast. I would order this again for sure...though maybe I would try the biscuits and gravy instead. My husband was happy with his pancakes and bacon. Everything was cooked perfectly. We both thought the coffee was excellent; and the juices came in large glasses (with ice). Overall I was really satisfied with breakfast. I was a little nervous at first since there were no other people in the place, though by the time we were done there were a few families. It's maximalist decor here and there are a lot of things to look at on the walls. There was music playing but quiet enough that conversation was easy (when I had gone at lunchtime it had been too loud). It's definitely a bar more than it is a breakfast spot, but I was very satisfied with our meal. ”
